ABLJ ranks OS Law Among Best Corporate, Commercial and Tax Law Firms

The Asian Business Law Journal recognizes OS Law as the 2021 leading firm in the practice of corporate and commercial law, being highly regarded for its corporate and M&A practice, and as one of the best tax firms in the country.

Cesar Purisima, a former Finance Secretary and the founding partner of Singapore-based equity firm Ikhlas Capital, considers OS Law as “excellent Legal firm in the Philippines, trusted by the top international law firms to take care of the Philippine clients.” He likewise praised the leadership of the firm’s managing partner, Atty. Jude Ocampo, whose “well-rounded skill set makes his firm’s legal counsel particularly valuable as they sit at the table with our partners from end-to-end of the deal process.”

Meanwhile, Tay Ek Ming has this to say about the firm: “OS Law has the ability and professionalism to handle many different types of legal issues.” He also notes the leadership of Atty. Jude who, according to him, “was an invaluable resource,” and whose “attention to detail and knowledge of laws are unsurpassed.”

Marie Mbaye, the head of legal for Asia Pacific of Havas, a French advertising company, likewise recognizes that with her working relationship with Atty. Jude, whom she characterized as “very pragmatic and straight to the point” as well as the firm “for several years on different complex legal matters,” that she and her company “have always been very well advised.”

The expertise of Atty. Karen Ocampo, in the field of data compliance practice has been also recognized by Cirilo Noel, vice chairman of Security Bank in the Philippines. He said: “The data compliance practice of the firm has evolved over the years and is getting a good foothold in this area of practice.”
