Updated List Of Vat-Exempt Products Under Section 109(1)(Aa) And 109(1)(Bb)

On 01 October 2021, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (“BIR”) issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (“RMC”) No. 103-2021, providing for an updated list of VAT-exempt products under Section 109(1)(AA) and 109 (1)(BB) of the 1997 Tax Code, as amended. The updated list of VAT exempt products were endorsed by the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) and Department of Health (“DOH”).
